LED lamps generate heat when working. Waterproof housings (especially metal housings, such as aluminum alloys) need to have good thermal conductivity and heat dissipation design to ensure that the LED chip and driver power supply work at a suitable temperature to maintain light efficiency and life. Poor heat dissipation will lead to accelerated light decay or even failure.

3. Materials and processes:

Material: Commonly used aluminum alloy (good heat dissipation, high strength) or high-strength PC plastic (lightweight, low cost). It must have certain UV resistance (anti-yellowing) and corrosion resistance (especially facing nutrient solution) capabilities.

4. Sealing: The sealing of the end cap, the sealing of the lens and the housing, and the waterproof joint of the outlet hole are key points. The quality and assembly process of the silicone sealing ring directly affect the waterproof effect.

Surface treatment: Such as spraying anti-corrosion coating to deal with chemicals in the agricultural environment (pesticides, fertilizers, nutrient solution).

5. Spectral adaptability: Although the housing is a protective component, when choosing, it is necessary to ensure that the LED light source that can provide the spectrum required for plant photosynthesis (such as red and blue light, or full spectrum) is suitable for its adaptation inside.

6. Convenience of installation and maintenance: Consider whether its installation method (such as bracket, hanging, buckle, etc.) is convenient for operation on the planting rack, as well as the convenience of replacing the lamp or maintenance.
